Wisdom in Living
Wisdom is the capability of the thinking mind to self-intuit all the facts and the information acquired, and then diligently apply them to everyday life and living. Wisdom is different from knowledge, which is only the acquisition and accumulation of facts and information from reading and learning. Wisdom is the connection of all the dots to see their logic and relevance in real-life situations. So, even an expert or scientist may not necessary be wise.
Wisdom Essentials of the Thinking Mind
Awareness is consciousness of what's going on in the mind and the body. So, always focus on the breathing in and the breathing out, and practice daily meditation to enhance the power of thinking.
An empty mind with little or no preconceived ideas is essential to getting "new" ideas and information.
Simplicity living is also important because it is a deliberate detachment from the material world. So, let go of all your attachments to a luxurious lifestyle, such as wearing designers' clothes, driving an expensive and luxurious car, living in a multi-million-dollar home, and associating with the rich and the famous. Simplicity living is never easy, but it "declutters" the thinking mind of cravings and demands to give it clarity of thinking, which is essential to wisdom.
Humility is the only pathway to connect to God to give you spiritual wisdom. Remember, pride is the first of the Seven Deadly Sins. So, receive God's life instructions expressed in His Word. Spiritual wisdom is biblical instructions for life and living in this secular world.
The bottom line: Wisdom in living comes from both human wisdom and spiritual wisdom. Human wisdom involves empowering the thinking mind to think effectively and efficiently. Spiritual wisdom complements the "imperfect" human wisdom through God's Word to give humans life instructions to make the right choices and decisions in everyday life and living.
